About Us

 Who We Are

Our club has been in the Phoenix area since 1980, making us the longest running clogging group in the state of Arizona and the oldest 4-H club in all of Maricopa county. Our group is run by all volunteers, which helps keep the cost down. We take pride in offering a wholesome economical dance group with advanced level of instruction available. By being part of 4-H, the dancers not only learn how to clog, but they also have the opportunity to go to camps, gain leadership skills, earn scholarships, and learn how to be leaders in the community.

Monday night practice

Dance

Along with our Monday night practices, we perform at fairs, in parades, as community service, and at a variety of other venues. We dance to music ranging from country/bluegrass to Irish to modern, even including Christmas music for the Prescott Christmas Parade.

Leadership

Clogging in a 4-H group isn’t just about dancing, it’s about learning life skills! In addition to dancing, our dancers hold club offices and run specialty committees and even learn to teach clogging classes.

Community

One character trait we emphasize as a 4-H group is generosity. To that end, we participate each year in a food drive sponsored by 4-H, Trick or Treat so Others Can Eat. This year, our dancers canvassed a neighborhood in Mesa and performed in another neighborhood in Scottsdale to collect canned goods for those in need.

We have also volunteered at Feed My Starving Children packing meals for disadvantaged children, which was a huge success! Our kids packed 40 boxes of high-nutrition meals to ship to Haiti.
